Had a fun night tonight reminiscing the whole Jamie Sale-David Pelletier silver-turned-gold from Salt Lake in 2002! Michael and I watched their performance on YouTube that technically won...ahhh it is so flawless and beautiful. No one I've seen this Olympics have come close to the beauty of that performance.
I bought a "new" pair of used skates today! They're Harlick skates that, if new, would have been around 800-900 with the blades. I got them for $115. I guess I'm a skate snob, but hey! Play-It-Again can be a gold mine. :) Tomorrow we're going skating up by Green Mountain Falls, on the big pond. I am very excited to be in skates that fit and are incredible. Now to practice everything I've lost over the last few years, and hopefully get better. :)

Last Friday, Meleia and I and our friend Caitlin, who is a photographer and student, did a shoot on our land as well as in a big field! If you want to see the pictures, go to www.caitlinalyssephotography.blogspot.com. Here are some of the best ones from that day!

It was really fun! Caitlin is incredible and getting better by the shot!
This week has been alright, just schoolwork and work itself, which has been making me crazy. The youngest boy I nanny for constantly pitches a fit, screaming and acting like he can't do his homework, when it comes that time. Last night I called Granny after work and just cried. Then I went to the gym and ran for an hour on the elliptical and got all my frustrations out burning calories. I suppose that's the best way. I've been really proud of myself for running as much as I've been...every day this week so far, except Sunday! It's difficult, but it's a mind game, and the more I run the more I can overcome it.
I'm thinking of starting a cake/cupcake business out of my new cottage, once I move. I love baking and making desserts look beautiful... I know I could do it! Now to move and get going with that! I could do birthdays, anniversaries, anything really! So I'm gonna pursue it. Yep. :)

Daddy's getting married!!!!
Woohoo! A date has been set... March 12th. It'll be just the fam, going to California for a full-fledged-family honeymoon weekend for them, haha, before we all move into the new house (I'll actually be living in a little house on the land).
We're going to go to Disneyland to just celebrate all together. I figured it would be small and very low-key. It's very exciting though, I'm so blessed and glad to have Christine and Brock become a part of our family. They fit so well and have blessed our lives immensely! I want to thank everyone for all the prayers. God has been so good to both our families which will now be one big, awesome one.
Hmmmmm. Good day.
Valentine's Day was very nice! Michael and I walked around Old Colorado City awhile, then played Scrabble (he won! grrrrr.), then made dinner... chicken/lemon/orange/tomato panini and then chocolate raspberry cake for dessert!! It was gorgeous, if I do say so myself. here it is:

It was a very enjoyable evening. :)
