Is this the end of the stomach troubles? I started the "14 day Activia challenge". Granted, most people take it for a very different reason than myself, but after being persuaded to at least try it, I'm glad I did. Bifidus regularis helps the stomach take its time digesting... I don't know why that's helped but it has.
The only thing that has definitely disrupted me is drinking hot chocolate tonight with actual milk. I've been drinking lactose-free milk so now I know what to avoid. But otherwise, I've been able to eat regular stuff and not feel so stinking miserable!!! Hooray!! Tomorrow is day 8 and I plan to keep buying the stuff and eating it with breakfast.

My favorite T.V. show, One Tree Hill, was on tonight. Haley, my favorite character, found out that her mom is dying of cancer. A line that stuck out to me was, "I'm not the glue. My mom is, and when she's gone everything will fall apart."
I recall saying pretty much the exact same thing once. And again, something about being the glue, a lot more recently.
Ugh. I love relating to Haley; she sings and is a teacher and has a strong love of her family, and a definite sense of who she is. But I think these next few weeks of the show will be a little too close to home.

  1. Yeay for Activia! I told you, we're like the commercials- you don't believe it till a family member tells you and then you try it and it works. Woohoo! Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better. No more milk, please. Adore you!
