food for thought.

Today I took my first economics test. Whew. I sometimes wonder where I got my artistic brain... Mama was lil miss Programmer and Daddy knows Economics like the back of his hand. Guess who helped me study? Anyway, my grade on my quiz was not-so-good. Studied with Daddy, got a reasonably great score on the test! I can't wait to start learning the things I want to learn.

Ok so I'm seriously considering this whole cake-business idea. It takes a lot of effort (health codes/licensing...), but I feel like it would be amazing to do. I've purchased 4 books on the subject, and I asked my grrrreat friend Heather (see our blog "The Obscure Urban Emprise", to the left) if she'd like to be my business partner. Her first thought was YES but of course, there's a lot more to it than just baking and decorating, at least to begin with. But how cool would that be? Totally doable, if it's what God has in mind for us. It would be a lot of work but worth it. It could definitely put us through college and beyond if we need to. If you all could pray about that for us, that would be awesome! I'm just thinking...we're young. We have the whole world at our fingertips, why not??

Other news...worked out with Michael today, that was fun. :) then we visited my bff Alix at the YMCA where she guards. Aaaaand went to On The Border for dinner where we used a much-appreciated giftcard that Granny and Pop gave Michael for Christmas. Yummy! :)
All in all, a good day.
